Rick & Gail Soderlund

Rick and Gail Soderlund own and operate two busy shops, both located in river towns along the beautiful St. Croix River. Their first shop started in 1989 is located in Stillwater, Minnesota and their second shop started in 2000 is located in Hudson, Wisconsin.

Rick and Gail feel that a shop's management system is a critical factor in the success of the business. They purchased R.O. Writer for both shops in December of 2003. Their previous management system supplier offered no updates or improvements and was weak in many areas.

Rick and Gail were honored to be chosen as the test site for the interface between R.O. Writer and Carquest's Internet Auto Parts (IAP). The test was a great success, and saves the service writers a lot of time. Parts are ordered online, and the service writers can see the location the parts are coming from, which greatly helps in the scheduling process. "The marketing portion of R.O.
